Bringing your dream pool to life is an exciting journey, and our team is with you every step of the way. At Pools of Solomon, we’ve refined our fiberglass pool installation process to be smooth, efficient, and transparent—from the first design conversation to the final clean-up. Our goal is to make sure you not only love the finished pool but also feel confident and informed throughout the experience.

Dream & Plan

The first step begins with your vision. We’ll visit your backyard, discuss your ideas, and review what’s possible for your space, budget, and lifestyle. Our team will help you explore different pool designs and layouts while identifying practical details like utility lines and easements to keep everything safe and compliant. This stage is all about creativity and planning—turning your dream into a real, buildable design.

Permitting

If your property falls within city limits, the permitting process is a must. We handle this step for you, coordinating directly with local officials to ensure your project meets all regulations. Our team stays involved from submission to approval, saving you the time and stress of navigating city paperwork on your own.

Excavation

Once the plan is finalized, it’s time to break ground. Before we dig, we’ll meet with you to confirm the exact placement and details of your pool. Then, using an excavator and skid steer, we carefully shape the area to fit your chosen design. Most excavations take one to two days depending on the pool size and site conditions.

Setting the Pool Shell

This is the moment most homeowners love to watch. Using a crane or large excavator, we lift your Aqua Technics fiberglass pool shell into place. It’s set on a compacted base of washed gravel to create a solid foundation. Once level, we begin filling the pool with water while backfilling with gravel at the same time to ensure even support on all sides.

Plumbing

As the pool fills, we start plumbing. Our experience with multiple fiberglass manufacturers allows us to combine the best installation practices from each. Unlike companies that rely on free, lower-quality parts, we use premium-grade materials designed for long-term reliability.

Complete Backfilling

After the plumbing is complete, we finish backfilling around the shell with gravel, securing everything in place. This step also prepares the area for the concrete collar, which adds strength and stability. At this stage, we coordinate with your electrician to hook up the pool equipment and ensure everything is functioning properly.

Pouring Concrete

Once backfilling is finished, we set the concrete forms and complete any required state inspections before pouring. Homeowners can also choose alternatives such as concrete pavers or natural stone like travertine for a custom look.

Finishing Touches

When the concrete is cured, we clean your pool thoroughly—removing debris and perfecting every detail. On our final visit, we’ll provide your Pool School session, showing you how to use, clean, and care for your new fiberglass pool confidently. You’ll know exactly how everything works before we leave.
