About Pools of Solomon

Pools of Solomon was built on a family legacy of hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship. With experience that began in 2001 installing above-ground and vinyl liner pools, our team shifted to fiberglass in 2010. Since then, we have installed hundreds of pools for homeowners and builders across multiple states. That history has given us a clear understanding of what works, what fails, and how to deliver a result that lasts.

When we relocated to Tennessee, we heard the same story repeated by local homeowners and builders. They were frustrated by poor communication, unreliable contractors, and shortcuts that led to costly repairs. It confirmed what we already knew: families in the Nashville area needed a pool company they could genuinely trust. Pools of Solomon was created to fill that need.

Our Values

Faith, family, and integrity define how we operate. We believe in transparency, honest work, and treating every homeowner with respect. These values are the foundation of our business and the reason families continue to recommend us to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most fiberglass pool projects start around $50,000, or about $450 per month with financing. Exact pricing depends on factors like pool size, site conditions, and any additional features you choose. Financing options are available so you can bring your pool to life without paying everything upfront.

Absolutely. Fiberglass pools are among the most durable pool types available. The shell is built from multiple layers of fiberglass and resin, creating a strong yet flexible structure that can move slightly with the ground instead of cracking. This flexibility makes them more reliable than concrete (gunite) pools, which are prone to cracking with soil movement. Unlike vinyl liner pools, there’s no liner to rip, fade, or replace.

Most inground fiberglass pool projects take 2 to 4 weeks from excavation to completion. Here’s a general breakdown:

  • Excavation: 1–2 days (3–5 if rock is encountered)
  • Setting the fiberglass shell: 1 day
  • Plumbing and backfill: 2 days
  • Pouring concrete: 1–2 days
  • Finishing touches and cleaning: 2–3 days

Total installation time: 7–13 working days, typically spread over a few weeks to allow for weather and scheduling adjustments.

Fiberglass pools offer several benefits compared to other types:

  • Built from layered fiberglass and resin for long-lasting strength.
  • Flexible enough to handle soil movement without cracking.
  • Smooth, nonporous surface that resists algae and is gentle on skin.
  • Quick installation compared to concrete pools.
  • Low maintenance — no resurfacing or liner replacements needed.

They do. Fiberglass performs extremely well in Tennessee’s seasonal climate. Its flexible shell and smooth surface hold up against temperature changes and shifting soil, making it a long-lasting option for homeowners in Hermitage and the Greater Nashville area.

Not at all. Fiberglass pools require less maintenance than concrete or vinyl options. The smooth surface prevents algae growth, uses fewer chemicals, and makes cleaning quick and easy. Most owners spend just a few minutes a week maintaining water balance and surface clarity.
